Peter Cartwright, Piano Instructor

Peter Cartwright is a private instructor and performer of piano and organ at The Arts Academy at Steinway Piano Gallery. Peter believes in a flexible and individual teaching approach toward his students and specializes in many styles of music, such as classical, jazz, pop, and boogie-woogie. Peter instructs students from young children to the college level and beyond. In his teaching sessions, he is conscious to include clear guidance on all aspects of ear training and piano technique while encouraging parents to structure their children’s practice time and help them set musical goals.

As a classical, pop, and jazz performer at Steinway Piano Gallery, Peter incorporates annual student recitals as well as school and church performance opportunities into his teaching methods. Peter teaches on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for $35 per half hour, billed monthly.
