Shuntaro Suegi plays The Goldberg Variations by J.S. Bach
Hailing from San Diego, CA, Dr. Shuntaro Sugie is a harpsichordist, pianist, and fortepianist active worldwide performing all around North America, Europe and Japan. Engagements include the Schlosskonzerte in Bad Krozingen (Germany), Utrecht Early Music Festival (the Netherlands), Projekt Kulturschock (Switzerland), Windsor Symphony Orchestra (Canada), Toledo Symphony (USA), Macomb Symphony, Lexington Bach Festival, among others. Shuntaro began his piano studies at University of Southern California, and his interest for historical keyboard instruments piqued at the Hochschule fur Musik Freiburg (Germany). He recently completed his doctoral studies at the University of Michigan.
