"A Benefit Concert for Aspiring Pianists"
We are so inspired by parents who provide an opportunity for their children to experience the joys of making music. The commitment required by a student to become fluent on any musical instrument is significant. The logistical commitment by the parents in bringing their children to weekly lessons, providing an appropriate instrument for learning, being there for at-home coaching and incentivizing practice, and then paying for those lessons, all while managing the day-to-day affairs of a family, is a staggering achievement.
We are aware that, due to the rising cost of living, many parents struggle to keep up with the cost of lessons. Some have stopped lessons, and others are delaying the start of lessons for their beginners. This is truly an unfortunate loss of time in learning.
In support of our regional students and their piano studies, the Steinway Piano Gallery of Detroit will present a concert featuring the great Aaron Caruso—with Cliff Monear, Jeff Pedraz, and Dan Maslanka. Proceeds will provide an opportunity for students to develop a love for the arts, in the form of full and partial sponsorship to those who are struggling. Let's make the world a better place through engaged, fun, and financially attainable music instruction.
