Yuki and Christopher Harding met as undergraduate students at the Eastman School of Music. Thirty-two years and four children later, they continue to perform as a duo across the United States. Christopher is Chair of Piano at the University of Michigan and pursues an active international performing and teaching career, while Yuki is a freelance oboe and English horn player active in Southeast Michigan, appearing with the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, the Flint Symphony Orchestra, Michigan Opera Theatre, Oakland Symphony Orchestra, Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestra, Toledo Symphony Orchestra and Warren Symphony Orchestra. Yuki is also a veteran chamber musician, having performed as a regular member of the Ann Arbor Symphony Quintet and the Mountain Chamber Players (NC); she also toured Kentucky with the Madera Oboe Trio. A native of Japan, she began playing the oboe in the United States at age fourteen, continuing her studies at Eastman with Richard Killmer, and at Northwestern University with Ray Still. She performs on a custom acrylic oboe made in 2019 by Tom Hiniker, a world-class boutique oboe maker in Iowa.

Christopher is in high demand as a teacher and performer, with recent concerts and residencies in Seoul, Bangkok, China, Sicily, Saint Petersburg (Russia), as well as in the far corners and heartland of the United States. At the University of Michigan, his class is composed of the most talented students from all over the world; he also holds a Permanent Guest Professorship at the Sichuan Conservatory in Chengdu, China.
